Computer generated animation, gaming landscapes and consumer products all start as 3D computer models. This 8 WEEK WORKSHOP will present first time participants with the basics and increase the proficiency of returning students on Rhino 3D a user friendly industrial strength 3D CAD program.
If you would like extra practice the Rhino 3D software is available on the Teen Zone computers at the Hilton Branch and the Teen Zone PCs at the Main Library.
This workshop will cover:
- Drawing and editing lines and curves
- Navigating 3-dimensional space.
- Creating and transforming shapes.
- Building 3D models of objects from simple to complex using a variety of modeling techniques.
- Creating photorealistic renderings of models.
- Creating designs for 3D printing.
By attending all the classes in the workshop you will have the opportunity to print your design on the library’s 3d printer.
The workshop is open to middle school students, high school students and adults.
